It’s so good to know that, no matter what we are going through, we can let the words – the promises – of this scripture swell within our minds and hearts, bolstering our strength, courage, and ability to rise up out of bed in the morning. When we lift our eyes to God, our Maker, and trust him to lead us, we can put our feet firmly on the floor, we can stand, we can confidently take a step. Knowing and trusting that God will be with us and will help us, we can confidently traverse each pathway, hill, and mountain, and slog through each storm we find ourselves in.
Dear Lord, please help me lift my eyes toward you today. Help me trust in you to take care of all my pressing issues. Please instill your peace within me as I walk with you today.
